چکیده
This study observes and interprets the spatio-temporal variation in oxygen hydrogen isotopic composition (δ18O, δD) of shallow groundwater Southwestern Coastal state India, Kerala, terms seasonally varying rainfall, physiography, hydrogeological settings this region. identifies effective recharge sources their relative contributions provides first-order estimates submarine discharge by interpreting variations stable isotopes groundwater, collected from 225 locations for pre-monsoon post-monsoon seasons conjunction with rainfall. Spatio-temporal δ18O d-excess, other data, reveals that: (1) ∼4.9 Billion Cubic Meter (BCM) fresh water rainfall during May to October mixes ∼5.9 BCM residual across Kerala. (2) ∼ 11% area Kerala is additionally recharged NE monsoon (3) The annual varies physiographically ∼2.2 lowland ∼1.5 midland ∼1.2 highland regions. (4) On an basis, 41% replenishable drained as SGD into Arabian Sea.

Seasonality in Tourism and Forecasting Foreign Tourist Arrivals in India
In the present age of globalization, technology-revolution and sustainable development, the presence of seasonality in tourist arrivals is considered as a key policy issue that affects the global tourism industry by creating instability in the demand and revenues. The seasonal component in a time-series distorts the prediction attempts for policy-making. In this context, it is quintessential to...
متن کاملPrecipitation Intensity Effects on Groundwater Recharge in the Southwestern United States
Episodic recharge as a result of infrequent, high intensity precipitation events comprises the bulk of groundwater recharge in arid environments. Climate change and shifts in precipitation intensity will affect groundwater continuity, thus altering groundwater recharge. This study aims to identify changes in the ratio of groundwater recharge and precipitation, the R:P ratio, in the arid southwe...
